This afternoon, after I had finished a very short scrapbooking session, I used some of my paper scraps to make a few bookmarks for Big Brother. He loves to read and, like me, often has more than one book going at a time, so the bookmarks are useful for him. Took me all of five minutes to make him three very basic bookmarks – each one was prettu much a few strips of paper glued on top of each other and trimmed with fancy scissors.
He was so thrilled, I couldn’t believe it! He gave me a huge hug and about ten smooches. He also said that no one else was allowed to use his bookmarks but that I should make some for me and hubby so that we had them when we needed them.
Ah, simple pleasures!
