I’ve been working on a page/tab of car seat info. It’s still a work in progress, but click on the “Car Seat Info” tab at the top of my blog for some helpful tips. I plan to add a lot more info, but if there’s anything in particular that you’d like to know about, please leave a comment here or on the car seat info page.
And since this is a car-seat-themed post, here are a couple recent pictures of my kids in their car seats.
Little Sister still rear-facing at 2 (in a Britax Decathlon).

Big Brother at 6.5, snoozing in his Britax Regent.
So, do you just stick them in their car seats and then leave them in the garage?????
There are days when I’d like to do that, believe me! Actually, I did leave LS in the car once or twice when she was asleep. (It was about 60 degrees out, so a good temp.) Of course, I left all the car doors open, the garage doors closed, the door from the garage to the house open, and I sat at the kitchen table and read so that I could hear her. She slept for about an hour. Usually what they’ll do is fall asleep in the car for 10 minutes and wake up the second we pull into the garage – completely refreshed and no longer in need of any sort of nap.
I read your posts for a long time and should tell you that your articles always prove to be of a high value and quality for readers.
