Big Brother is changing his name.
At nearly 7 (in 3 weeks), Tim and I figure that he has the right to have some input in what we call him.
Here’s how it came about.
Yesterday, he was teasing me, and called me “Big Mama.”
I told him it was BookMama. And reminded him that he was “Big Brother” on my blog. (What, you thought I was talking about his legal name? Heck no!)
Then he said “No, I want to be Book Brother, because I’m more ‘book’ than ‘big.”
“No, wait, I want to be Book BOY. Yeah, Book Boy.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes! Please call me Book Boy!”
So BB is now Book Boy instead of Big Brother. At least the initials are the same.
That’s funny
Cool name change!
That boy charms me.
How cute!
My daughter asked the other day if she could be called something else on my blogs too.
He could want to be called worse things…that comes when he’s fourteen!

Cute story. I have come across 7 year old kids that have persuaded their parents to legally change their name before! Looks like you got off easy
