This evening, Tim dug up some old video tapes we’d made with our camcorder when Book Boy was a baby. One of them shows my dad holding BB at about age three months. My dad was feeding him a bottle.
As we watched the tape, Book Boy exclaimed, “Why is Grandpa giving me a bottle?!”
Because you were fussy and hungry, Tim and I explained.
“But shouldn’t I be getting milk from my mother’s tummy?!” (Obviously he was remembering my days of nursing Little Sister.)
Um … almost. Of course, he also couldn’t understand why Tim and I laughed our butts off at his question. Silly boy!
well unfortunately, thanks to aging, thats about where they are anyway. So you cant blame the kid.
Why do I forsee this story being retold when BB brings home his future bride?
Gotta love btwinny’s comment. So true!
Let’s just say that if I were ever to have plastic surgery in that particular area, it would be a “lift” not an “enlargement.”
aint that the truth!!!
Milk comes from a woman’s tummy? Now my strange fascination with women’s belly buttons makes sense.
