OK, OK, the kids don’t really have everything (and Big Brother would certainly be the first to tell you that!). But Christmas shopping for them gets harder and harder every year, I swear.
But Big Brother has all the Legos, Lincoln Logs, Star Wars toys, Rescue Heroes, Playmobil pirates (those are awesome, though!), cars, car playsets, LeapPad and accessories, puzzles, crayons/coloring books, play tools, etc. that a boy could want. (I’m not including books in this list because I always like to give them books.) I just can’t think of anything unique to get him. Plus I try to stay away from physically large toys because we just don’t have that much room.
And Little Sister … well, she’s two, and we still have all the typical 2-year-old toys from when BB was this age plus what LS has accumulated thus far. We’ve got a big toy kitchen and tons of accessories, shopping cart and play food, all kinds of toy letters (magnetic and blocks), a ton of Duplo blocks, about 10 “Little People” sets, puzzles, My First LeapPad and accessories, cars and trucks, etc. Of course, there’s always girly stuff, but she already has at least 7 dolls and some clothes, doll carriage, doll stroller, doll feeding seat, Little People house and palace, and so on.
I have some ideas for BB based on his letter to Santa, but I really don’t know what to get for LS. All she ever asks for is dolls, and I am NOT getting her another doll.
Anybody have any good suggestions? What have YOU gotten for a 6-year-old boy or a 2-year-old girl that was a little out of the ordinary?
