As I mentioned yesterday, Tim and I took the kids to the circus yesterday. This was the third time that Book Boy has gone, and only the first time for Little Sister.
BB seems to be the perfect age right now – the noises, darkness, etc. don’t bother him one bit, but he is still totally impressed by everything.
We weren’t sure how LS would be, on the other hand. This is how she looked through pretty much the entire show. We figured she was just overwhelmed, tired, etc. But as soon as we got to the car, she started talking about how much she liked the tigers, especially when they did this particular thing. And did you see the little dogs? She especially liked the black dog, but she didn’t like the dog in the dress as much. And when they went down the slide, they stuck out their tongues and went “pant pant pant.” And that little brown dog went up to the top of the slide and then turned around and went back down the steps. And …
Yeah. She was paying attention.
Here are some of the other cool things we saw.
Bello the Clown and his “true love” did this awesome swaying pole routine in Ring Three, very close to us, so the kids had a great view.
There were 10 elephants (although only one did this trick). They were pretty cool.
LS absolutely loved the tigers!
