After I got a root canal this morning (definitely NOT today’s happiness!), I ran some errands before going home. I had taken the whole day off in (correct) anticipation of being uncomfortable, but didn’t quite want to rush home and relieve Chloe and take on all three kids alone yet. One of my errands involved going to the mall to return a pair of too-small school pants and picking up two other pairs at Lands End, for Adam to try on. While there, I ducked into the Apple store on a whim and asked about the camera on my iPhone. It has been cloudy for a few months, and a quick Google search a while back revealed that it was probably the lens coating. I made a “Genius Bar” appointment to return a bit later.
The tech who helped me said that it was an easy fix – she just needed to replace the back on the phone (which includes the lens), and she’d be back in about five minutes. She was, and the camera is as good as new now.
And perhaps the best part? It was free – no charge at all!
