I’ve never had to address the issue of comments before. However, due to a flurry of very personal attacks from one specific person recently – aimed at me as well as other regular commenters – I feel I need to speak about it.
I’ve mentioned before that I welcome comments, even those expressing differing viewpoints. That hasn’t changed. However, I now have a set of rules for comments.
Rule #1: Be respectful.
Oh, that’s it. Just one rule. Break it and I might delete your comment

I find it a shame that some people have to use commenting as a forum for personal attacks. I too welcome opposite views because they encourage lively conversation, but I also draw the line at spurious anger and vendettas as well as outright spam!
We can thank the better blogging platforms for a way to moderate what comments get posted. I encourage everyone with a blog to make use of that handy tool.

I recently bought a Fisher price safe voyage stroller. And while I am waiting for it to arrive I thought I would try and find instructions so that if/when my stroller arrives I can put it together.
